Deep dive into the statistical approaches used to validate potential standardized laboratory methods

We are pleased to invite CA23152 members to attend the second training school.

While designing a relevant experimental model is an important first step in the pathway to method standardization and obtaining translatable data, knowing which statistical approaches are best to analyze the data is equally important.

COST Action CA23152 would like to invite you to attend an intensive F2F training school scheduled for 8 – 9 September 2026 at the Jožef Stefan Institute located in Ljubljana Slovenia.

Content will focus on study design and statistical analysis approaches to quantitatively assessing repeatability (test-to-test), reproducibility (lab-to-lab), responsiveness (sensitivity), and ruggedness of a method proposed for standardization. Participants will leave with the R code necessary to make these calculations, and practice in its use. On the final afternoon, the training school will focus on quantitative image analysis strategies. The training school is a great learning opportunity for those who are currently or who are planning on conducting a collaborative study.

Space is limited to 20 participants. If you are interested in attending this workshop, please fill in the following survey: https://forms.gle/QXnPs3XPRBKqw8Nq8

Requests need to be received by 6 July 2026. A notification for those selected to participate will be sent on 10 July 2026. Preference will be given to early career participants. Participants are expected to attend both days.
