ITC Conference Grants

General Information & Funding Available

Are you a researcher/innovator working in the biofilms-related area and looking to attend an international conference to present your work?

RegulatoryToolBox has allocated a total of €5.000 for ITC Conference Grants during the 2nd Grant Period. While the maximum eligible amount per grant is €2.500 for face-to-face conferences and €500 for online participation (in accordance with COST rules), the Action has estimated an average of €1.200 per grant for in-person events, based on previous application trends and budget planning.

This allows for the potential support of up to 4 participants, presenting their work as a poster or oral presentation, depending on the nature of the event, actual demand, and remaining available funds. The final grant amount will be determined by the Action Core Group, considering factors such as the type and location of the conference, as well as the number and quality of applications received.

The work presented must be relevant to the RegulatoryToolBox COST Action’s scientific objectives. The grant can cover travel, accommodation, daily allowance, registration fees, and other relevant costs such as printing a scientific poster.
