CBE Regulatory Pathways virtual meeting

We’re happy to announce that registration is open for our annual regulatory pathways meeting, Anti-Biofilm Technologies: Pathways to Product Development, happening virtually on Jan. 28 & 29, 2026 via Webex. As is the case when we meet in person, our priority with this meeting is to bring together industry, regulatory agencies, and academia to discuss the science behind anti-biofilm technologies and the various regulatory pathways to bring life-saving products to market.

Over the past decade, academic research advances and private company R&D efforts have led to the development of innovative anti-biofilm technologies with transformative potential in the consumer products and healthcare arenas. Likewise, advances in methods for studying and assessing biofilms have provided new insights into important biofilm characteristics such as why biofilms are difficult to kill and remove from surfaces.

To promote shared learning, we welcome colleagues from the EU and UK regulatory networks. In addition, this year’s agenda includes talks on US, EU, and UK regulatory pathways; and on the second day, we will explore the use of AI to develop products, its use as a regulatory decision-making tool, and its impact on the field in the next couple of years.
